Your privacy

A message sent to nietorrevieja.com, by form or by email, carries some personal data. Here is how we treat it.

Which data do the forms take?

Two fields are compulsory: your name, and an email address for our reply. Everything else is optional: a telephone number, your nationality, the procedure you are thinking about, and a short description of your case. On arrival, the server also notes the time of sending and the sender’s IP address, which lets us weed out automated spam.

What is it used for?

Answering you, first. Then, if you ask us to, preparing your procedure together. The legal grounds: steps you ask for ahead of any contract, plus a legitimate interest of ours, shielding the forms from abuse. No advertising, and no sale of your data, ever.

Who else may see it?

When a partner firm provides the help you ask for, your request reaches that firm, which uses it for that alone. Our web host and our email provider process data on our instructions, under contracts that oblige them to secure it. Public authorities receive nothing from us, except at your request or where the law requires it.

How long is it kept?

If an exchange goes no further, we erase it when it no longer serves any purpose. Once we work on a case together, we hold the file for whatever period the law lays down for such services, then erase it.

What can I ask of you?

The GDPR gives you the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to limit or oppose its use, and to take it elsewhere in a portable format. Send the request to office@nietorrevieja.com; the reply comes within the GDPR’s time limit. Not satisfied with our answer? A complaint can go to the AEPD (aepd.es), Spain’s data protection authority.

Are there cookies?

Just one: the cookie a form needs to travel securely. Nothing for advertising, nothing that follows you around the web.
